Borderless Team Spotlight: Umesh Maini

Borderless recently celebrated 1st work anniversary of Umesh Maini as Chief Product Officer.

Maini brings four years of start-up experience to the table with 12 years’ experience total in payment solutions. He previously served as a Chief Product Officer for Buckzy Payments Inc. and as Executive of Everyday Banking at TD Bank.

In his newly appointed role as Chief Product Officer, Maini will implement a productive and strategic vision that aligns with Borderless’s goals and objectives.

Using factors like competitor performance, revenue sourcing, and go-to-market approaches, Maini aims to deliver products that drive value for both consumers and businesses. He is eager to develop three core pillars of the Borderless platform: compliance, HR, and payment solutions, in a way that facilitates a seamless user experience.

As a member of the leadership team with a growing start-up, Maini is eager to push the frontiers of product development to establish Borderless as an authority within the global employment start-up space. “My principle has always been: how do you become new, different, and better?” he says. This visionary approach aligns with building and distributing stellar products for our rapidly-growing company.
